We spent years building systems for freight. The inbox never changed.
01 · What we kept seeing
Skilled people, stuck in copy-paste.
At DAO, GLS and large logistics companies across Northern Europe, we built systems for tracking, planning and invoicing. But every time we walked past the dispatch desk, the picture was the same: three screens open, a route copied from an email into a spreadsheet, a call to a carrier, a wait, and then the same again for the next request.
02 · The question
Why does the most urgent work get the least help?
Warehouses, tracking and invoicing had been digitised for years. Quoting still ran on email, phone and memory. And it is the part of the job where minutes decide who wins the customer.
The fastest reply wins the job. We want that to be the forwarder who knows the customer best, not the one with the most people.
03 · What we built
A colleague that does the legwork.
Fragta reads the request, asks the right partners and lines up the replies. The coordinator makes the call. We built it to sit next to the tools forwarders already use, so a team can be live in days, not months.
