Human in the loop: AI shouldn’t send quotes on its own.

Why we build Fragta so the coordinator always approves, and how trust in AI is built step by step.

When you build AI for a workflow, it’s tempting to let it run the whole way on its own. We’ve deliberately chosen the opposite.

In Fragta, the AI never sends a quote without a person’s approval. It reads the request, finds the right partners, brings the prices home and lays it all out. But the decision stays with the coordinator.

Skilled coordinators shouldn’t drown in manual email work. Most of it can be automated, without removing people from the decision.

Trust is built at your pace

Trust in a new tool doesn’t come in a day. That’s why Fragta is built so you decide how much it’s allowed to do.

At first you can run it so nothing is sent without approval. As you see the matches land and the prices make sense, you can open up at your own pace. You set the speed, not the system.

Why people stay at the helm

A quote is more than numbers. It’s a judgement of whether a partner suits this particular customer, whether a price is right in the market right now, and whether a relationship is worth nurturing.

A request sent by mistake costs trust, with both the customer and the partner. People are still best at that kind of judgement. AI is good at the repetitive; people are best at the exceptions.

What AI does, and doesn’t

It does

Structures the job, finds relevant partners, sends requests, gathers replies and prepares the quote.

It doesn’t

Make the final decision or send anything out on its own.

The result is a workflow where the machine does the heavy lifting, and people keep control, judgement and relationships. That’s the balance we believe in.
